Maynard Tapp founded Hawk in 1985 and was a prominent figure in the Alaskan business community. His tireless support of the Alaska oil, gas and energy industry coupled with his passion for community engagement will be forever missed. At his core, Maynard was a people person - helping thousands secure employment over the course of his career. His genuine concern for the well-being of everyone he met – employees, clients, suppliers, and colleagues - was legendary. This is Maynard’s legacy - one that Hawk will aim to preserve. Maynard passed away in 2017.
