Mike Jens
Mike Jens has been active in the engineering and construction industry for more than 36 years. He is a registered engineer who has worked with owners, construction contractors, engineering firms, attorneys and bonding companies on a wide variety of projects. He has expertise in project planning, contracting strategy, program management, project delivery techniques and dispute resolution methodologies.
Mike has held bottom-line responsibility for major projects, has performed management consulting assignments to help others improve project delivery processes, and has served as a consultant and trouble shooter on difficult, complicated projects. He has participated in all types of projects including heavy industrial and civil projects, oil field facilities, commercial and institutional buildings, public works facilities and transportation/ infrastructure projects.
Mike is an experienced negotiator who has been instrumental in the resolution of hundreds of construction disputes. He has served as an advocate, a project neutral, a mediator, a construction expert, and a facilitator. He has been unusually successful in helping parties find equitable solutions to difficult construction problems using alternative dispute resolution methodologies. |
