Product quality has never been more important or scrutinized - especially on major capital projects. Hawk supports client procurement and supply chain operations by providing experienced inspectors and expeditors to ensure product quality and timely delivery. Inspectors located within close proximity of major suppliers are available for deployment on an ad-hoc or resident basis depending on client requirements. Disciplines include:
- Electrical and instrumentation
- Static and rotating mechanical equipment
- Coatings and preservation
- Welding and NDT
- Pipe mill and tubular goods
- Subsea equipment
- Pressure containing equipment
Seasoned and professional expeditors can be dispatched to work closely with supplier personnel to recover problem orders that may have slipped in an effort to improve delivery and avoid costly construction delays.
Inspectors are also available to monitor and report on new construction or fabrication operations in major yards, refineries, plants or operating facilities all across North America. Disciplines are similar to the above but can also include HSE personnel, materials traceability, and administrative or technical reporting. Typically these tend to be resident assignments.
All personnel are thoroughly vetted and undergo a rigid screening process which is actively managed by senior Hawk personnel.
Quality assurance auditors, engineers and coordinators are also available to assess prospective or existing suppliers, assist clients with the development of quality plans, inspection procedures and/or ITP's, and to manage global supplier surveillance activities.
